Stock driveshaft question

I have 2011 Camaro SS (m6 transmission) with stock two piece driveshaft. I think this was dumb move on my part.. I separated the driveshaft to remove differential and I did not mark both halves. When I was taking things apart, I did not even think of it. Now that I am putting things together, I am concerned that it might not be balanced correctly.

Did you separate the two halves or just remove from the trans and diff?

I separated both halves of the driveshaft and left transmission in. I only removed rear portion of driveshaft.

I'll check my Service Manual tonight, but it seems my memory tells me the factory indexed the two haves. Good thing you left the front shaft in the trans.

It does not seem to be indexed for the SS driveshaft. I was able to rotate the rear portion and reinstall. I am hoping that both halves are individually balanced.
