Curious why some owners rebuy another Z
I’ve seen a number of member profiles where it says former owner of xyz z/28 and now new owner of xyz z/28. Curious on the reasons to jump back in? I’m assuming most purchased a new car but didn’t find it as exhilarating. Anyway, I thought it would be good to read some comments from those owners.

Just my $.02…
I’ve had a 2013 1LE, 2015 ZL1 and now a 2015 Z/28. The Z/28 is by far the most track focused car and fun to drive. It’s a keeper and getting more rare as days go by!

It's one of the cars that leave an impression on you. I want another myself.

I've owned 2 so far, and plan to buy another at some point in the future. To me, its as if the damn things were built for me. The ONLY reason I got rid of my 2nd is due to a divorce....I needed to be able to find parts easier and cheaper if I needed them, so bought a ZLE to get me through for now (although I really like the ZLE nowadays, and plan to keep it, I still plan to add another Z/28 to the mix eventually).

Value proposition as other members said! Where are you going to find another track-focused-NA-V8-manual race car for the price? GT3RS or GTR Track?

I can't think of anything I could replace mine with nor would I want to. Adding cars to the mix yes, but the Z/28 is irreplaceable to me. I think that's what keeps former owners coming back. For the money, there really is nothing else like it. This thing is a limited edition factory prepared track car and it's the best kept secret value wise. I hope the enthusiasts get one while the Z/28 is relatively unknown and affordable.

I’ve driven a lot of cars in my life time. Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Ford, Dodge (it was so good someone stole it after 3 months), Chevy, Mercedes, Maserati, and Porsche. None of them felt special, it was just a car to me. When I got inside the 5th gen Z/28, I felt this was a special car. This is basically a race car that’s street legal. Take out the seats, radio, A/C and you got a race car at a bargain price. Yea there are other like it but you’ll be paying 100k GT500, 200k Porsche GTR.

To me the bad boy of them all, Viper T/A. The ACR is a bit nuts and completely went crazy with the price. Lately the AMG GT R has been growing on me. Those are the only cars similar to the Z and obviously the GT350R but for some reason it doesnt do it for me like the Z06, Viper or GT R. The GT3 is super sweet but its a different beast than the front/mid engine big V8 long hood, super wide 6 speeds. The AMG GT R unfortunately doesn't come with a manual.... the one gripe I have with MB on that one. I wouldn't get rid of the Z for them but would love to add those one day. That would be awesome.
