Question Condensation in Radio Display

This morning on my way to work i noticed I have moisture behind the glass of the radio display. I even noticed it when i turned the car off. I will check it during my lunch break at work but this concerns me... This happened to my cell phone and i had it replaced because they told me its a bad seal causing the moisture to leak in.

anyone else have this problem?

Yeah, not good. Take it to the dealer, they'll order you a new head unit.

I had that happen once, but only once so far. I haven't taken it in because it didn't last long (about 15 minutes), and they usually say they "can't replicate the problem" if it's not doing something when you take it in, and they won't do anything any way. But I'm definitely keeping an eye on it, and I would be interested to know if anyone else is having this problem too.

I'd suggest taking pics when it happens (hopefully it will show up in the pics), then show the pics to the dealership with an explanation. They should make it right.

There is a PI out on the display fogging up but it doesn't sound like the problems you guys are experiencing.

Quote:
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment that portions of the radio display fogs up when using the Air Conditioning. This will typically occur during the following conditions:

•When the blower speed is placed to the HIGH position.
•When the center vents are pointed downward toward the radio display.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Engineering is aware of the concern. Currently, there is no repair available. Once the vehicle has cooled off, decrease blower speed and avoid pointing the center IP HVAC vents down toward the radio.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.

I've had it happen to mine as well. Same symptoms as everyone else. Fogs up a spot about the size of a quarter and will dissipate within 15 minutes or so.

No... this is NOT what i'm experiencing... it has happened today again... i think the cause is because my car is in the garage and then comes out into a colder temp... both mornings this has happened. I got a pic this time!
