Yes and it was interesting seeing it drive away . I've never seen it move unless I was driving it .
I have ridden with my wife and she drives like a granny , drives me nuts sometimes , but not when she's driving my car !!

This type of s#!t pisses me off. Traveling down the freeway the other morning and walloped a large "road alligator" directly in the middle of my lane. I did a pretty good controlled swerve but still made contact. Traffic was pretty thick and didn't have much room. There's always so much crap on the Az freeways. I'm glad I don't have a splitter on the 2LS, I'd really be angry! This should clean off with some bug and tar remover. Could have been much worse!

I ran over a retread cap (should be blatantly illegal in the US) breaking the front splitter and damaging the passenger door. Was over $1500 to fix it all.

Agree with the “blatantly illegal”. Had that happen on the highway with what appeared to be a brand new garbage truck. Guess maybe they were test flying the truck with some crap tires…? Truck in front, me in one lane, and a sheriff car next to me. Heard some noises and then saw a tire shredding. Piece bounced off my fairing (hd bagger) and the rest went into the sheriff’s car. They both pulled over and I was lucky to escape and kept going.
You’re ok, thats the main thing.

I totally agree. I hate having to dodge those things on the highway.

Damn that sucks ariZona but glad you're OK. Looks like it will buff out but I've learned so much between my front bumper issue and rear bumper also being plastic, it sure is better than having to worry about rust. Good luck!! I hate playing asteroids on the roads, it's so dangerous.

I don't know why 0stones0, but this is a great picture. Proving Racing Ramps work along with getting the blood transfusion and the hammock waiting for recovery.

Get the car up, pull the drain plug and then function check that hammock for an extended period of time. Definitely a good way to spend a Midwestern fall afternoon!

Yeah, like I said it could've been much worse. I've seen ladders, chairs and even an OVEN laying in the road! Gotta stay alert!

Those race ramps are the cats behind! Pricey but, worth it, imho.

That hammock is more for the other half … she barks out orders of the day from there… naa! She’s a real sweetheart!

I put a little ding/scratch in my right rear quarter backing into my garage. Was't paying attention and backed into the pressure washer. My own fault of course but pisses me off. Especially since I've been meaning to move the pressure washer to the shed. The car is off the road for the winter so I'll have it fixed in spring.

Tow Hook

One more project in before winter gets here. Not really difficult but, more a pain in the ass to get the front end off. Tried with the tires turned to one side and finally just lifted the car and took them off. Should have done that from the get go.
Anyways, I fabricated the tow hook from some I’ve seen online out of 4130 cm. Don’t plan on having to use it but, nice to have it there if needed.

Damn, all in an afternoon, even. I envy you people who know how to use tools.
