I've had my '10 SS L99 for over 13 years now, I immediately added the Solo Axle back exhaust which sounds great. The car is otherwise stock. I have NEVER heard the car go into 4 cyl mode or experienced any drone at any RPM. A Lot of guys like to bitch about a problem the doesn't exist, at least not for me.

Honestly 4Cyl mode was really noticeable on my old SS with a muffler delete. The new car is 100% stock and I don’t notice it sound wise.

That's why they put those spring loaded tuning valves in the exhaust pipe. LS3 doesn't have those.

I went to what’s basically a LS3 hybrid as it has LS2, LS3, LS7, & LS9 parts in it with no AFM or VVT. Even my Shelby friends love the way she sounds. The aggressive cam and supercharger are everything I’ve wanted. This car is never going anywhere.

Paddle shifting will disable AFM as soon as you make one downshift.

Thanks everyone. Been looking, haven’t found anything even worth taking a drive out to see in person. Will continue to look. Ideally looking for a 10-13 LS3. Winter’s coming (for some of us, not you lucky AZ/TX/FL guys and gals). For now, I’m seeing a whole lot of overpriced. I’ve got nothing but time. The right car and seller will come along soon enough. Meantime, I’ve got a Camaro I can enjoy.
