Never heard of anybody "ditching for the winter". Depending on location the Fall is traditionally a bad time to sell sports/muscle cars. One could speculate that some of these cars are on their 2nd, 3rd or even 4th owners and the individuals are looking to cash in and make up for some of their other investment losses in this horrible economy. A 30-40% gain is pretty good in these abysmal times.

Agreed, this is a recession we are in (some refuse to to acknowledge that) and expendable cash is getting tighter. Once we see red again, these cars are will sky rocket in price due to the limited production and performance.

I'm perplexed that Z's trading at Bullitt level. Maybe Z is too raw?

For whatever reason it's been a red headed stepchild relative to valuation. I think the raw analog nature of the car hurt it intially and to an extent still does today. Remember GM released the C6Z06 at the same time as the Z/28,everyone talked tough about the Z but all the pansies bought the Vette which was only 10K more and civilized with way more H.P. There has been a flood of these lately on BAT, they are well off there lows and slowly rising but still not in favor. One day that will change..

I'm curious to see how the Z28 prices are going to be vs the 6th gen ZL1 & ZLE.
Has anyone noticed what's been going on with those?
I know there has been way more of them produced and it's still in production but they have been really hard to get new last couple years

Yeah, even GT350R has backup camera and all the tech stuff. Plus, exterior looks different compared to base GT. Ford made it special with plaques and stripes.

The Z has all the performance goodies but lacks the uniqueness/specialty. Looks very similar to base SS. I guess people wants to see what they're paying for. Drives like a supercar but..

GT350R or GT3RS are just as raw as Z but they got the looks and you can spot them from afar. You got know what you are looking at for the Z.

I think what you fellows are saying is what will make the Z28 more valuable in the future.
Its overlooked. But its the last true Z and with its trans am heritage they will go up in value. The collectable things are usually the things that people didn't buy and overlooked. The opposite of Bennie Babies.

Sold for 55K. As I said, good for people that are still looking to grab one.

Is 2500 miles worth $10k? The last one was 3600 miles and did somewhere around $65k. I’m having a hard time following these values. Wonder what held this one back?

These are becoming like buses on BaT, another one coming by in five minutes.

Could have just slipped by, good price for the buyer on a nice car under 10k miles. Need to watch the market going fwd, that sucking sound is everyone's disposable income shrinking..

Look at the economic decline. We are dealing with a huge problem, it’s called petroleum, without
it all value is shit!

For such a limited production run car, it's all coming out of the woodwork over sudden.
