Just some install notes on the 2” headers. Be prepared to dent both side of the headers. Drivers side hits the steering shaft and the passenger side hits the frame, just barely. I’ll tell you what the passenger side is a bitch to install by yourself.

Ok great to know, how do they sound. I knew they would have some massaging to get them to fit in

Don’t know yet i quick after the 3rd attempt on the passenger header. Installed it once noticed it’s hitting the frame, took it out gave it some massaging reinstalled, needed a little more. Got one bolt started quit to watch the Alabama vs tenn game. I dropped the bolts about 400 times lol abs and main wire harnesses suck. Plus my gorilla hands don’t fit easily.

I used a spark plug socket and a hammer. Worked great

well, I finally got to take the car our with the new 2" headers. what i can tell is it is definitely louder than the 1 7/8". I'm noticing a little more pinging noise from them. Don't know if they are made with the same thickness of metal or not. After everything settled its still hitting the damn frame on the passenger side. I might leave it because it's such a pain in the ass to remove. ill most likely address it over the winter. For the price it's definitely worth the price and time to install, even if you have to dimple 2 pipes.

Very cool, so what would you suggest to do differently for the others about to install theirs? That would make it easier and not hit the frame, I've seen on other 2" header installs like American racing headers on the 5th gen where they had to cut or grind the passenger side frame for clearance.

I would never cut my frame. Just dent the headers so you have 1/4” clearance. It won’t hurt performance one bit. Drivers side clears the steering boot but is close to the shaft. Passenger side sits right on my frame so i used a socket and hammer to create clearance. Just make sure you dent it enough the first time, taking it off 3 times really sucks. Now i have to do it again.

Ok cool, you think you picked up some power? You'll need to get tuned for the extra exhaust flow now. You'll have to dial in the MAF in HP tuners since it's going to be leaner due to the extra flow.
