DIC Warning
I was driving this morning when all the sudden a warning came on the DIC. The warning said "AC off due to high engine temp", the gauge on the dashboard temp wasn't functioning as well as the 4 pack cluster temp also wasn't functioning. It was a cold morning and I didn't have the air on I had the heater on. I pulled over and opened the hood and there was no wave of super heat. I turned around and went back home. Im assuming a sensor, but I dont know which is the reason for the thread.

Check your overflow tank/radiator. Happened to me, when the fluid is low.

Happened to me when the fans stopped working and I was parked doing some work on my laptop. I looked up and shut it off because it was legit hot. The only sensor I know that gives engine temp is the one in the driver's side head in front of the number one exhaust port.
