I did the 6L80 to 6L90 swap a few years ago on mine.
I used the same computer and harness.same crossmember. After I installed it,I had it towed to the local GM dealership and just ask GM to reflash the TCM to a ZL1 Camaro which I provided a Vin number. And I drove it back home. The 6L90 that I used was a ZL1,and I also have a spare. I know a few used the CTS-V tranny too. But I haven't heard anybody use a truck one yet.

A 6l90e from a 2wd truck or van will fit in a camaro after changing the rear output shaft with driveshaft flange and rear extension housing. I just installed a new take out 6l90e from a van after changing those parts. Complete trans disassembly is required to change them though.
