Cam Lifters Issue?

So it looks like I’m having a lifter issue.
Started with light clicking.
Becoming a clacking driving in traffic.
Now engine light is on and running like it’s a cylinder down.

From what I’m reading it’s a lifter or two.
Diagnosing engine Light this weekend.
The Camaro is parked in my trailer.

So looking for actual cam/lifter results for guys that track and weekend warrior their car.

Not looking for top HP but good reliable results.
What should I look at upgrading since the engine is coming apart?
It will be a budget build. I will install myself.
So no head/intake porting or shaving.
I’d like a one stop shop and not have to peace meal it together.

Cam - manufacturers specs TSP/BTR/GMPP/Comp
Lifters - anyone run the caddy upgraded lifters? Problems?
Springs
Rods
Retainers
Etc

I’ve looked and I didn’t find any new threads.
Maybe I searched wrong?

I'm watching this closely as I have a GM crate LS3 in my C5 Z06 that gets regular track abuse. Is it possible your engine had a trunion failure? Maybe you can pull the valve covers and see if anything is obvious.
