Lowering front only

Have any of you lowered only the front by 1" or very close to that? If so, can I see some good side shot pics? And let me know how it's driving.

Asking because as I considering lowering this car, mostly to reduce wheel well gap, I swear, there's more in the front. If I put a level on it under my ground effects (GM GFX) it looks level. But when you look at the car and look at the wheel well gap, it's more in the front. I'm thinking the bigger gap in the front is due to tire/wheel combo. I run 20x10 fronts with 285/35 and 20x11 rear with 315/35.

Not looking for some huge rake, but I suspect it'd look a lot better just dropping the front a tad. And at the same time I wouldn't have to worry about cradle bushings, ride quality changes in the back, etcetera.
