Changed out the 2 lb. chrome shift knob (made from a trailer hitch ball) for a Speed Dawg knob. The 2 lb. knob was almost too heavy (floated around when at cruise speeds) and holds the cold way too long.
Only 25* out today so, didn’t get that good of a pic. Brrrrrr! 40s to 50s next few weeks….hopefully.

Nice! I have contemplated getting a shifter ball for my 2015 but vacillate between the desire to keep it completely stock and the fun factor of having a Hurst shifter with the white ball.

I know it's been nearly a couple months since you installed the chromed wheels from LA Wheel but are you still pleased with them? Any regrets on going with the either the chromed version of the OEM wheels OR with LA Wheel?

Thank you.

I would still tune it out

The sleeve is attached there with plastic tape.
The base can be replaced without major modifications.
I would put a round base under the ball.

That's when I hollowed out the base from a piece of aluminum on a drill press

T shifter is kick ass George!
I hear ya on the round base under the shifter. Playing around with what I want to end up with. This way, I can put the stock shifter back if need be. Yea…when am I ever going to do that!

Funny you mention about the rock crusher Jewld. My brother just picked one of those up, retro, for his 78 Z28. He just loves the whine of that trans!

no sir im very pleased with all of it. i had the wheels ceramic coated before i put them on and the brake dust really has stayed off the wheels and the coating made them easy to clean. no regrets at all.

Awesome!

Thank you very much for the quick response. Think I'm gonna get a set ordered so when I do my paint correction they're ready to install and she'll be lookin' good for spring.

Thanks again.
