More wanting torque than Hp. Any recommendations?

I have both, the v8 car will kick the crap out of the v6 car. Personally as complicated as these cars are stock I can't imagine modding a v6 to try and get close to a stock v8 car power output. The torque will never get close to the v8 car and that's what muscle cars are all about. I'm sure your modded v6 cars are fun to drive but v8 performance only comes in 8 cylinder engines. The v6 is a sports car, the v8 is a muscle car!
