Missfiring V6 out of nowhere

Hey guys,
My Camaro V6 (118.000Km) started missfiring out of nowhere. First on Piston 1 with the Code P0301 and after waiting 30min and deleting the code. Everything went fine for 15km. And then it started missfiring on Piston 4 with the code P0304. Both times the cel went on. but on the second time it solved itself.

Do you guys have an idea why, could the bad weather have an affect? Drove thru an pretty heavy snow storm

Thanks

Changed the timing chain ever? If not, maybe pop off the valve covers and check the timing chain, could be loose (pull on the chain where it's accessible between the camshafts, should be taut). Another issue I've seen on a few LLTs is the reluctor wheel slipping a bit on the crankshaft and throwing off timing. Lack of fuel or spark can also create a misfire event.

Could be one (or a combination) of many reasons for misfires. I always start with the coils and plugs. Swapping coils to see if the code follows the coil, then checking the plugs for any wear indication. After that, it turns into a seek-and-find.

I also may run some gas cleaner if I suspect that the issue may be bad gas.
