Always good to have one of those, my dad has been a mechanic most his life, but according to him stock is perfection and every change I make only makes the car worse, but I swallow all the "I told you so"-s whenever I need his help, like few weeks ago when I had to replace a gasket on the header and cross threaded the bolt on the head, he was able to help out with some elbow grease and washers, still feel like an idiot on that one.

I just plugged in my second aux gauge 4-pack cluster (this one is new) only to discover that it also doesn't light up.

Yay.

Indeed. My son-in-law is a pretty handy guy. (Sounds like your dad is too.) I just wish they hadn't moved 86 miles away, dammit...
