#3? Still fighting Paypal on that one. No update until tomorrow.

Now I'm waiting as gauge seller #4...a seller I was recommended to here...finally gets around to shipping out that one out, as they stated they would ship it out last Wednesday, and I'm still seeing zero activity on that one. Not a good sign as this company came highly recommended, and this was a first test of whether or not they're worthy of larger purchases.

Sigh.

Beginning to wonder if God really doesn't want me to sort-of monitor my voltage, engine oil pressure, and engine and transmission oil temps in this car, as I've never in my thirty-plus-year history of owning cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATV's, three wheelers, bicycles, video games, along with a 9-year-run as a car/truck repair/restoration/performance shop owner...never have I encountered such wretched hives of scum and villainy in securing a single freaking upgrade part for anything that I've owned or worked on for a customer.

Do I dare pursue securing something as simple as...replacement key fobs for this car (the keypads are destroyed on both), or just push the thing off a cliff now before I go through this all over again?
Feel your pain.
Had a similar situation with Phastek over a splitter. To be fair it wasn't actually Phastek that was the problem, the crappy Canadian company that made it and then apparently shot it with a load of #4 duck that somehow made it thru QC .
Weeks and weeks of sending pictures in the light, the dark, the twilight, flashlight from behind, held by a bikini model and measuring the size of the holes, then measured with said bikini models cleavage in the picture. Exterior mods came to a halt after that since it left a horrible after taste.

I think I still have the cleavage one.

Are you familiar with the Heller book "Catch-22", or more recently, the Spongebob Squarepants episode, "The Grass is Greener"? Both are brilliantly written examples of satire.

I'm not even given the opportunity to be a bad customer before sellers begin committing financial suicide.

I'm essentially swept up in a seller-create poop storm, wondering, just like Plankton in the Spongebob episode up above, "is there a gas leak in here?". The first seller, a large business with tens of thousands of transactions, and "100% feedback!" (more on that in a moment) sent a unit that was soaked in coffee.

I thought the pictures just showed a dirty smudge behind the lens.

Nope, it was still-wet coffee. The seller even used those images in two other listings. I attempted to clean the unit, but testing the head unit both before...and after...indicated that the head unit was dead, regardless of the never-produced video of the gauge cluster supposedly working.

I returned it, as the seller was initially polite and apologetic, hey, we're sorry, we'll take care of this, etc, etc. I return it, and the seller goes full greaseball, saying that I broke the unit (one of the wire zip tie clips was loose when I got it), they had video of it working (evidence which they never supplied), I had pre-opened the box (uh, how was I supposed to determine what was in the box if I hadn't opened it?), they said that the box I sent arrived hanging open (the pictures they provided of the box wasn't the box I sent) and then stole half of my refund in fees.

Ebay's process to fight this sort of seller shenanigan is actually broken, none of the buttons worked to click onto various pages or functions, even the "Ask Ebay to get involved" button just sits there and does nothing when you click on it, no matter which browser or PC you're using. Sooo, essentially, Ebay aids and abets these sorts of thefts (I'm not the only one who's run into these types of problems) by simply making it impossible for anyone to protest anything.

...and then speaking of feedback, Ebay has taken an active hand in deleting negative feedback if you're screwed by a seller, and this happened to me three times in a row. You type it out, it looks like it's processed, and then it disappears.

It was only after somehow stumbling onto a live customer service agent (all of those buttons and pages to access customer service were broken as well until one point on Sunday evening two weeks ago...and now they're only working intermittently) that I finally got my side of the story in, along with picture evidence of what I received, and how it was shipped out...and the other half of my refund finally went through.

The second and third sales were just as bad, but in completely different ways, with, once again, Ebay always taking the side of the seller and making it nearly impossible to get anything going against the sellers. I've spent the equivalent of a 40-hour work week on just trying to get three returns done...and attempting to chase down Ebay customer service...if and when the site works.

Thanks, caught me off guard going to my car this morning and seeing this big thing on my hood, what also caught me by surprise is when I went to clean all the crusty pollen off my windshield and realized I forgot to connect up the nozzle tube so at least gave my engine bay a light cleaning.

Was very pleased with the result and the new look.

Have plans for some Weld Racing wheels for it. We'll see

You can get keys and fobs from the dealer....so you dont have to jump thru hoops. They wont be the switchblade ones, but they will work properly. BREATHE my friend...it will all work out in the end, cause in the end it doesnt really matter! HEH...too soon??

The only thing missing for me is a stripper that I've never seen before, showing up at my house with an illegitimate child in tow, demanding that I pay back child support that I've neglected all these years...only to discover that she has the wrong house, and the schmuck she's looking for actually lives across the street.

Looks great, not sure what kind of journey an slp Camaro went through to end up in Norway but does it have the 4 pod rear taillights or is it the conjoined ones you would see around Europe?

Have you considered the possibility that you died recently and this is just some sort of Twilight Zone-ish purgatory you're trapped in?

Had to make a plate with holes to match both the BK Mount and the Fast Freddy extinguisher bracket using spacers a stainless hardware and aluminum spacers. I’ll get better pics tomorrow.

I do like what you've done to the front end! Particularly the mail slot basically being moved up the hood. I like it. Have to wonder how she'd look with the splitter painted to match. Nice ride, sir.
