I'm happy to report that water levels at Lake Mead have definitely come up a bit. Did a solo run around part of the reservoir today. The weather was perfect - low 80s with broken high haze to block some of the sun.

It better be, there’s 30+feet of snow on most of the peaks that feed the San Juan, the river is running hard right now and the CO reservoirs north of me are all full. When I went thru page last month Powell was at 110% of capacity. If mead doesn’t fill up you know they are letting it all out.

They're not letting it out, except for what's necessary to generate power and feed the users downstream but it does have a LONG way to go before being at capacity. Realistically, we'd need another couple of winters like this last one.
