Removing the adapter from the headlight isn't an issue, it's the other end, believe it's the ballast(?). I think it's clipped in. I just wasn't able to get at it. If I remember correctly it's right up against a plastic wall. Figured all I needed to do was remove the 4 screws holding the piece in but it's blocked by something else under it. I know a picture would be show what I mean. Maybe I'll try doing that later.

Okay, got pics. So in one pic we'll see the adapter butted right up against the wall. Maybe there's a way to take it off but I didn't want to risk it. So like I said I wanted to remove the piece. The other pic is showing the small space there is between that ballast (?) and the body.

the mentioned parts would only affect inside the headlight and reuse the OEM ballast (bottom picture) and igniter wire. The adaptor takes the D1S plug inside the light to the D2S connector.

Theres a few parts we will need:

Projectors (upgrading our stocks):
https://www.morimotohid.com/bi-xenon...s_3?quantity=1

D2S bulbs (because D1S fit differently)
https://www.morimotohid.com/morimoto...lbs?quantity=1

D2S to D1S Adaptors (to reuse OEM ballasts and wiring):
https://www.morimotohid.com/morimoto...s_2?quantity=1

After looking at the first link it is not clear we will need any of the other “optional” components from each of the drop down menu fields. Can you confirm?

We shouldnt need any of them since we are using the bracket to mount not the lock ring, the shroud is a cover for around the lense which we wont use (oem area covers it) and the other part we shouldnt need either.

Good to know. Did they mention a turn around time for when these would be produced and shipped once we met their group buy requirements?

As of now no. RnD may take a few weeks but I'll keep everyone updated best possible.

Update: prototypes are being developed. Possibly fitting a 3" as well. That will require the lights be opened but we shall see!

Does this mean all the invoices have now been paid?

From my understanding yes. This may also be a NO BAKE options too. 3" would require baking but we are exploring the option for those who want 3"

Those who over payed should have credits by now, i have seen the prototype and it looks VERY promising to be a no bake option!
