no.i was involved in a pretty horriffic accident with a semi that required a new door, quarter panel, rear wheel and a few other bits and pieces.i just wonder if the body shop took the time to index the window,as other than that everything is perfect.this was last july but i just noticed it about a month ago.

You can do that yourself. Roll passenger down. Back up. Then driver side. But it should say you need to index and tells you what to do

If you disconnect the battery for a bit, after you reconnect you should get the message that you need to re-index. You'll have to do both windows but it takes less than a minute.

And the other thing, when you hold the button to go down, at the bottom, hold the button for about a second or two, same when you go up, hold the button, then it should all be good.

My passenger side did this for a while .. I tried the disconnect , the holdng the button down , and none of it worked . Then one day I got in it to leave for work , and it asked me to do the re-index. Then all fixed . So I don't know what happened ,other then one day it just decded to fix itself LOL.

Really have many minds of there own. I think the window regulators are their own modules, and I know there are modules in the doors.

Hmm. The only other thing I can think of is maybe something slipped out of place in the window track where they fixed your door after the accident?

Probably this. If it's not demanding the indexing I would think that sensors, motors and other feedback items are in proper position. You may need to pull the door panel for a quick visual OR return to the trusted folks that performed the work and see what they say.
