you may still have to unless you can contort yourself to remove the oem ones in pieces ( i removed them without baking open)

While im in there ill probably install my Diode Dynamics RGBW kit as well. i have had it for YEARS and never installed it. Ill hopefully be doing the zl1 bumper soon as m stock one is just worn out, paint is cracked and tabs are bad.

I guess I’ll just have to wait and see when the time comes If I can do it. If not then I still have headlight sealant to reuse and bake again if needed. You will enjoy the RGBW kit when you install it.

It wasn’t too bad. Hardest part was having to bake them a few times just to soften the old factory sealant holding them together. Once I got past that it was easy. Just need to be careful when prying them open with a small flathead screwdriver. Just take your time.

They are willing to cut us a ballast replacement cover should you choose to use a different ballast vs OEM. There is pricing available for that. Must be a group buy of 10. Price includes ballast covers, Ballasts and grommets. I will discuss with those interested.
