I know this isn’t what you asked for but I still wanted to play…

Submodel (V6, SS, ZL1) - SS-SS-SS-SS…………….
Brand of Exhaust - HPT custom 3.5” with Magna Flo mufflers, 3.5” in/out and custom homemade tips 3.5” in X 4” double wall stainless
Type (Axle or Cat Back) - Yeah we’ll stick with “catback.” No kitties….
Pros - They flow a hella lotta hot gasses… They’re “relatively” quiet and build quality is stellar…
Cons - After my Heart Attack, and subsequent Strokes, I no longer have the car… Couldn’t race it any more, so I sold it and got a boat…

I originally had a GMPP axle back, and the drone was awful at cruise… As we built the car up, for racing, we went through a couple of iterations of cat back systems by Magna Flo… All were quality pieces, however the first set didn’t flow what we needed with the three inch pipe and 3” in/out mufflers… so we went to a 3.5 inch dual exhaust with a homemade X-pipe and the aforementioned mufflers and custom homemade tips… Nobody made a 3.5” in X 4 inch double wall tip 11 inches in overall length… so we made them… Actually a friend did…

We raced with full exhaust and air filters on the fresh air inlets…

At idle…

This was as hard as we could go on the dyno before tire slippage… And we spun them here…

Z/28: Factory NPP. It ain't broke, no need to fix.
2LS: I have yet to hear a V6 Camaro with IMO what I would consider a decent sounding exhaust. Besides, it's my DD and it's just fine the way it is.

Submodel (V6, SS, ZL1) - SS
Brand of Exhaust - Factory GM with mufflers removed, no name axle pipes
Type (Axle or Cat Back) - Axle
Pros - Affordable, decent sound with acceptable noise, has the burble/pop on coasting
Cons - Restrictive with stock cats, heavy
Do you like it or not - Acceptable for now. Needs more ROAR. Would love to see a budget friendly cat back system with high flow cats.

Submodel (V6, SS, ZL1) - SS 1LE
Brand of Exhaust - Corsa Extreme
Type (Axle or Cat Back) - Cat Back
Pros - No drone and sounds amazing.
Cons - Ended up being too loud for my local track after I installed cat-less long tubes. I had to add two Borla resonators to keep her below the 92DB sound limit.
Do you like it or not - Like the exhaust. Hate people who complain about a race track being loud loud...

Submodel (V6, SS, ZL1) - 2013 SS Vert
Brand of Exhaust - TSP Headers, Jegs X-Pipe, Borla ATAK
Type (Axle or Cat Back) - Frankenstein exhaust. LOL
Pros - Not a bit of drone. Quiet at cruise but roars under power.
Cons - Needed to fab up a couple custom parts due to the x-pipe being a little too short.
Do you like it or not - Love it. Can cruise with the top down without being noisy, until I want it to be loud.

Submodel (V6, SS, ZL1) - SS (Cam,heads plus bolt ons)
Brand of Exhaust - Texas speed long tubes , high flow cats, Flowmaster 3”
Type (Axle or Cat Back) - Full exhaust - X pipe to tips is flowmaster
Pros - Great sound, loud at wide open throttle, sounds like American muscle
Cons - Drone at times while cruising but not bad at all. More of exhaust sounds while cruising over a serious drone
Do you like it or not - I do really like it. If I could do it again I might of tried solo performance. It was my second choice

Submodel (V6, SS, ZL1) - SS Stock engine No headers yet
Brand of Exhaust - Borla Atak
Type (Axle or Cat Back) - Cat Back
Pros - Love the sound
Cons - other than at times would like to hear it more when cruising.
Do you like it or not - Like the exhaust. Hope it is exactly the loudness when I add the headers and high flow cats

Submodel (V6, SS, ZL1) - SS
Brand of Exhaust - Texas Speed and Borla hybrid
Type (Axle or Cat Back) - TSP headers and high flow cats, cat-back TSP piping with Borla XR1 mufflers
Pros - Love the sound, deep tone, no drone. The TSP mufflers had a "tin" like sound and were very raspy and loud.
Cons - Fairly quiet at idle, but I guess that's a good thing.
Do you like it or not - Yeah, i like it. If I could go back in time I would have got a thicker wall header like a Kooks and I would have gotten an off the shelf Borla Atak.

Brand of Exhaust - Corsa-- Modified. I cut the can open and cut out the straight tube and replaced it with a perforated tube. Stuffed the can with muffler material.
Type (Axle or Cat Back) - Cat back
Pros - Sound is a deep throaty sound now, much better than the loud obnoxious sound I had before. The reason was so loud before, 100 cell cats and many engine modes. Now I can drive without the attention of the police because they may not hear it, or know where the sound came from.
Cons - none
Do you like it or not - I do now. The reason I went to so much work for this is because no manufacturer makes a quiet straight flow through muffler. But I did.
