PAC RPK5-GM4101 certain wires question

I've got the PAC RPK5-GM4101 dash kit to go with my Kenwood DMX709S radio, and am wondering what some of these wires are, or if these other wires are used for anything that come on the PAC kit harnesses.

The first are the two open ended wires on the harness that connects the kit itself to the car for climate controls and such. Anybody know what these wires are for? I can't find any information at all about them. (My stock radio was not the MyLink one)

The second are the navigation wires that are apart of the main harness such as Vehicle Speed Output. I am assuming I don't use these, but I'm not sure if I'll lose features such as the Drive Equalizer without it. Anyone know for sure?

I can get a picture of the navigation wires if necessary.
