Cts-v Upgrade

Anyone upgrade their Camaro wiith the 6 pisotn CTS-V front calipers and rear calipers.
I see that the rear calipers need to have the rear crossover tubes reversed.

Has anyone done this? If so will it crack the powdercoat, or can it be reversed without damaging the powdercoat?

They’re basically the same in the rear as your current calipers it’s the front that are bigger/better. You might get a better deal on set of C7 corvette 6 piston calipers on Rock Auto. Their all basically the same ZL1/CTS-V/C7 Vette.

I know they are the same rear. Just trying to find out if the powder coat is gluing the crossover tube together? I can get a set for front and rear, but if the powder coat gets ruined when changing the crossover pipe, I would need to repaint them. Trying to avoid that. If it would be damaged I could just get the front calipers and powder coat my rears to match.

Probably best to record your rears. I pulled my tubes and left them red against a black caliper but I think I got lucky.
