Looking for a part name/number.

There is a small foam block, under the hood on both sides of the fender well that looks to just stabilize the hood. I am missing the drivers side one and would like to replace it but I can’t find the part # or what it’s actual name is. I have included a photo for clarity. Please ignore the dirt lol. I’m in the process of moving.

I think it's a rear hood seal (92249259) definitely not easy to track down the name of it.

THANK YOU. I wouldn’t have ever thought to search for it as a seal. Haha.

I actually had my money on a "pad" "buffer" "hood bumper" or something like that, just got lucky on the search words.

Is it still possible to pick these up? Every where online says they are discontinued… I haven’t tried the dealer yet though.

I just knew it. Those things would get lost one day or whatever. I was buying some wiper blades or something several years ago from GMpartsdirect and bought some to put away, just in case.

They might be discontinued, but your Chevy dealer should be able to find you some because they don't just toss them. With all the warehouses there should be some somewhere. I would think. If you do find them, I would purchase several. I got mine only about 2 years ago. I'll check at mine on Monday.
