If you don't mind me asking, what wheels are those, I have been looking at various z28 copies, but looks like MRR doesn't make theirs anymore and other options don't look as "reputable"

This site shows them in several different size options and colors. I just looked at gloss black. And it says they are MRR. When I had them on my Camaro, I got them from MRR, but their website won't let me click on it.

You guys are right, feeling kinda crazy now, I was looking at them maybe 6 or 8 months ago and could not find any of them in stock anywhere, they didn't even show up on the MRR website, guessing it was a seasonal thing or maybe I am in fact going crazy.

It's all good. Yeah I'm finding out that Phastek is a pretty good place.

Also agree, have used them so much I ended up buying a sticker from them for under the hood, usually I only slap on stickers if they're free, I just really like that they roll shipping charges into the price, especially for some larger stuff, so you don't get surprised by a huge price bump on checkout.

Anyways it has been a brutal last couple of months. I had a hell of a time with the insurance company and it stresses me out to even thinking of all I had to go through. With that being said I finally got my money from them and immediately bought my car back from the insurance company for hardly nothing to get all my mods back that I ha don the car especially for the engine. So, then I bought another 2012 Camaro SS exactly the same as my black Camaro SS with the exception of the color. Then I took it to my go to shop Exodus and had them switch out all of my stuff from the wrecked car to the new car witch actually ran fine it was just really slow compared to my engine. lol. I had them swap out the engine, torque converter, gas tank, exhaust, rear subframe, shocks and springs, and brakes. I then sold the engine out of the new car to the shop witch took care of most of the bill.

Also while they had the engine out I went ahead and had them change out the head gasket's with some cometic .040 gasket's to increase my compression ratio from 10.56:1 to 10.96:1 to help with the hp a little bit. I didn't have them re dyno it just yet but I can tell you it now runs better then ever with the vve tuning that I've done. It idles and cruises just incredibly better so I'm a happy camper at this point.

Here's a picture of the new ride.

So sorry to hear about that accident, hope no one was hurt. I know what it feels like, with the nerves, and emotions all running high, my Camaro has been tapped twice and I've been knocked off my motorcycles so many times that I quit riding.

It's good you can get the mods off your car and put them on the new one, and welcome to the SIM Camaro club. Black is my favorite color, but silver Camaros are the superior color. I hope that things go smoothly with the new ride.

Yeah I don't know if I told you guys about it or not but when they were putting my engine together at the shop I went in one day and the guys were sitting in the office with long faces. They told me we have some bad news "we pulled the crank threads putting the harmonic balancer on". I was like ok are you going to fix it and they said they basically didn't know how. Then I said well I can. So I went home called the machinist and he told me everything that I needed to do to re-drill and tap for a heli coil. So I bought a powercoil kit with a 5/8"-18 fine thread drill and tap and went to town on it and it took me a few tries with the heli coil but I eventually got it right. I didn't have the right size bolt length, the one I had was like 4 1/2" long but I needed like a 4". So I installed it with a lot of washers but was never satisfied with my results. So when they had the engine out to do the swap I went over there with the correct bolt length this time that I had already purchased a while back from Mcmaster but hadn't had a chance to install it because I wanted to pin the crank for my boost later on. So I did just that, I drilled the crank and put the pin in it, then installed the correct size with the arp washer and a little blue locktite. So now I'm confident in my work.*

Sorry to hear about the accident, sounds like u came out alright in the end which is good considering.
are u planning on swapping the crank before u add boost? increasing the inside diameter of the shaft even with the added heli really lowers the lateral strength as I'm sure u already know.
