Hey guys, typing on my iPhone to catch y'all up and see how punkin is doing! We r an hour unto our 19 hour trip. We have to drive instead of flying cause we r trading inthe suburban. We thought about having our jewel shipped to us and ship our trade back but we were lookin at about 2 grand so decided we would drive it. Also brought the kids an gonna make a small vacation of it. The dealership is not far from niagra falls so we will go do that. When will we all get to go to new York? Not anytime soon! Anyway it is a long trip but so worth it. I really feel that this is our real baby and this one was meant to be! For what went getting for the price we can't beat it. We brought our digital camera and laptops so we can take pics and get them posted quick instead of waiting till we got home. Will be checkin in and keepin y'all posted on our progress. Talk to y'all real soon.

Leo --> I was going to ask if you saw anything at the yard...but I guess you got better news!

I hope mine is on the way. It's only 90 min from Columbia to Charleston. There was no infor tonight, so hopefully tomorrow.

And our "frustrated duo" is on their way to NY to nab a car!

The good news is pouring in.

Keep us updated along the way. Your car could have been on the train with us and arrived last Friday in Buffalo and just got to the dealer today.

Funny thing, all the paperwork we signed today was dated 11/2....when supposedly our car didn't come in until 11/3. I had a feeling our dealer wasn't admitting that the car was unloaded and sitting there Monday, an hour after he told us it wouldn't be in until the end of the month.

The dealer told us to contact him for any service, he will make the appointments for us....and be sure to have a loaner car for us.

Our dealer tried to get us to buy 2 or more years of On-Star service, for a discounted price if you paid for it today....2 years (1 free + the next year) for $179... I think 3 years (1 free +2 additional years) was about $350. We didn't take it....

I've read here on the boards if you don't sign up for it....near the end of your first free year they start offering discounted rates....to get you to continue the service. We will wait for that.

Programmed our garage doors easy enough into the cars opener.

Love the Camaro key fob/ swithblade.

Owners manual needs a case, it doesn't come with one.

The lighting in the car at night is awsome, with the strip lit on the doors...reminds me of a cockpit on a plane.

The high density headlights are awsome, even I can see the road...and I'm usually blind at night. Halo lighting gets attention...

I havent owned a car yet with HID headlights this will be my first...
