Get the splitter. Like 1JEWLDSSRS says, just train your self to park farther from the curb(could always by a Curb Alert https://brandmotion.com/product-cate...ty-curb-alert/) and you can buy a lip protector just in case.

Joe, I really like the clean lines of your splitter but I too am concerned I'd snap that like a potato chip if I wasn't paying attention.
