2015 Camaro taillight wiring harness issue

I have a 2015 Camaro lt2 commemorative edition convertible. I purchased 2014-2015 velox taillights from autoaddict. Took the bumper off, disconnected and removed the stock taillights and went to connect the plug and play velox taillights and the wiring harness for the velox was an oval plug and play setup. The harness that is attached to my car is a square harness so I could not install the taillights with the plug and play. Has anyone else had this issue with the wiring harness being a square rather than the oval shape for plug in play after market taillights. I’ve watched many YouTube videos and everyone I’ve seen the cars original wiring harness is the oval and they just plug in the new aftermarket lights and that’s it. Any advice or suggestions would be great! Thanks so much
