I guess the jury's still out on official weight. Here's a C6 thread with some 'spirited' discussions and even an MRR contact who chimed in on pg 4. Sounds like there were -some- balance issues 7 years ago.
OP, I can't answer your "+" size question but I have loved these wheels so far. Had two sets of rear tires on them. And I WAS a big fan of Pirelli's, color me a Nitto fan now! https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...=477000&page=5

I have Forgeline 20x9.5 & 20x11. They are waaaaaay lighter than the stock wheels. No experience with MMR but lighter is certainly better. Even my Forgestar 18x11 drag wheels are super light.

I wish flow forged v028 wheels were still readily available, they seem like a perfect upgrade over the MRR ones, old threads on here seem to speak pretty highly of them, too bad I was late for that boat.

According to their website the M017 are flow forged (lighter) and the m228 are cast aluminum wheels

All this discussion about the MRR material and Chinese origins and such, makes me want to ask anyone if they have ever done the closed-road runs at HIGH speeds with MRR wheels?
Centrifugal force can be a destroyer of rotating parts. You know where I'm going with this!

Nah.. My M228's were the same way. Kinda heavy and the valve stem was towards the back. Had to cut the "skate wheels" off my new brake pads so they didn't wipe out my valve stems!! Can't see the valve stems, but these are what I had. Got them from MRR Designs.

Yep. That was a pretty stupid place to put a valve stem! I guess they did it to keep the wheel "clean looking" on the outside, not thinking about the possibility of interacting with any brake rotors or brake pads. I liked them, but took them off and sold them because they were kind of a pain to clean on the back side, plus it didn't really fit the look I wanted for my Camaro. I'm basically a 5 or 7 spoke guy when it comes to wheels, and the deep concave look.
