Without tunning it for the different tire sizes, yes, it would throw it into limp mode.

Is that even possible? If so what software? I don't think HPT will do it since it doesn't touch the ABS or BCM.

Damn, the good ol' days! I know everyone (including myself) loves the first gens but those early TWOS kicked ass!

My '74 Dart Sport had shackled rear leaf springs with air shocks, 60s in the rear, regular 75s up front. Yeah, looked good but wallowed like a cement truck on fast turns. Fun times tho.

The 1970-73 Camaro Z28 RS is my absolute favorite.

I absolutely loved the 70's muscle era. But was a late bloomer to actually driving one.
(turned 16 in '72) Even then, the best 'muscle' I ever owned was a 1973 442. Which by that time, they didn't even bother to remove the "S" from the inside door panel, indicating it was a not-so-glorified Cutlass S. I still liked that thing. 350 Quadrajet dog and all!

Early 2nd gen Camaros and Firebirds were the best, in my humble opinion.

That's too bad man. I didn't grow up much farther north than your current location. (Coos Bay) And in the late 70s, 1st and early 2nd gen Camaros and Firebirds, Novas, Mopars, Mustangs and Torinos dominated our school parking lot. As did a ton of IH, Broncos and Jeeps from the 60s and early 70s. Picture the parking lot from "Dazed and Confused". We had no idea how good it was. And while the mid to late 70s Camaros and Firebirds did finally came into their own years later, we actually scoffed at them and called them "old people" cars with "all flash and no dash" at the time.

With the verbal sparring that goes on today between 5th and 6th Gen owners imagine the arguments between 1st and 2nd Gen guys if they had a forum format back in those days. Feelings would get hurt!

Then again, society was much more civil back then.

So true. A typical HS parking lot - or company lot, back in the day, was chocked full of now "classics." I won't see it but I, like many here, are convinced a well preserved 5th Gen Camaro will someday fetch stupid money from some rich, AI bot (ha!) at a future auction.

Totally agree! I think these cars are destined for that treatment.
