Ouch - here is to hoping UAW doesn’t start to strike on 9/15. They just threw away Stellantis’ offer.

Yeah. Told ya’ll. I created a sub thread a few days ago after I’m I received said they were bumping all CE’s out, except the ZL1’s.
On Monday my TPW went from 8/14 to 9/18 to 10/9. I made some calls, got the info and tried to warn everyone to call their dealerships. Some jokers poked fun at the post. But I get extremely reliable info

We get it. TPWs moving is not something new or exclusive to these CE cars though. I've been doing this for 23 years and TPWs move all of the time.

Hey GearheadSS, what does “tagging” and “drive and buy” mean on the second bulletin?

I understand they move. This though, is specific to the CE’s. I appreciate your knowledge as a long time dealer, but I was explaining the why as to the TPW changes in this case. CE’s were supposed to be early produced, until they got hit w a SWO.

I think that's something that GM corporate employees can normally do. Like, they can drive a Camaro as their company car and then buy it at a reduced amount once they're done with it. Looks like they won't be allowing any of that for 2024.

There's no way all CEs were going to be early produced. Some were initially but as is normal with GM when introducing new colors, they almost always get pushed back and delayed. It's totally normal. CE or not. They're also building CEs all model year long.

I know you're making a big deal of this but it's just business as usual.

Interesting! Makes sense tho. Something I also noticed is, I chose the 56Z wheels and I see limited availability. Should I swap out my option for a different wheel? Will that help chances in an order/allocation? Or does that really not matter.

Idk if that’s something you have insight on.
