Hello everyone. I am the guy that jrhaus76 is talking about in the above post. Like he said I have been a lurker for a few years now since Camaro5 has always had all the latest updates from concept to production. Its funny that he was looking for me cause I was hoping to run into him myself. I am looking forward to going to the events you guys put together. When I had motorcycles we would do the same kind of things you guys are doing. The Camaro is more family friendly since I can't put my wife and car seat on a motorcycle. I hope I can offer a-lot of input to this thread as I have spent many days and nights under hoods of cars. By the way...Sorry for having my mug as my profile pic. I don't have any good pics of my car yet other than the ones from my junk 2mp cell phone camera. I can't find the battery pack for my digital camera. I think a gypsy stole it at the local carnaval we had in G-town about a month ago.

Would that be the fair you speak of? We love the fair! demo derby and pork tenderloin... does it get any better?!

The events are family friendly for sure... you may even get to see a real live ninja!

Hey - just checking to see if anyone knows a good shop in Northwest Ohio. I need to take my 1978 Z28 into the shop to see what's wrong with it, but I'd prefer someone who has experience on older cars. In the future I'd also like to restore it but for now I just need it in running condition.
Thanks
Dan

Yea its the fair that I speak of. I didn't get to see the demo derby this year but my wife and myself enjoy watching it. I used to do the demo derbys at one time but I am not as limber as I use to be so it takes a few days for me to feel better now. The pork tenderloins are pretty good, even better when you put the hot horse radish on it. Clean that colon out real quick. As far as the real ninja....That always turns out to be some carney on meth. By the way....I just left you a 1st and 2nd gear hello on your road just before you get to Cochran Rd. I didn't want to do it on tar and chip. Did anybody on here up-grade their tires and want to sell their stock ones. I may need them soon.

I am not familiar with that part of Ohio but I know a-lot about older cars and if I don't know the answer to your problem I am sure I can find someone who does. If you are interested tell me what the car is doing and I can see if I know the source of the problem. The 1st Camaro I owned was a 1976 Type LT with a 350sb and turbo 300. My uncle ordered it and only drove it a couple years then my dad drove it for about 3 years before they parked it in a field. I was only 13 and got it running and driving in 2 days. The only reason my uncle gave me the car is he didn't forsee anybody resurecting a car that had sat in a field for 14 years, let alone a 13 year old boy.

I will have to check it out... I tried the launch control on the little section right by my drive where its tar and chip. As far as the horseradish... it there any other way? A tenderloin without horseradish is just fried pork! The ninja thing is an inside joke between those of us that went to hocking. EarliestMemory's daughter was there and she kept referring to herslef as a ninja. Shes 14 maybe? It was entertaining to say the least.

As far as norhtwest ohio, sorry man, i have nothing for you. Good luck. Whats wrong with it anyhow? Is it not running right or not at all?

Well I need to get to bed... see all you on the flip side.

Thanks LadyinBlue! IBM wasn't even an option for me till I saw it sitting next to the black SS I went to look at. I get tons of compliments about the IBM as well as the car in general. I know I am getting the windows tinted real soon cause I would hate to see how many cell phone pics of me driving my car down the road there are out there. Its amazing to me how many people will turn around and come back to a gas station or anywhere my car is parked including my driveway to check it out. These cars do something to people that the Chalenger and Mustang can't and I am not sure why that is.

Speaking of 70's Camaro's, I thought heinzd01 and jrhaus76 could appreciate pictures of my 1975 Camaro I owned in my late teens - early twenties. I loved that car but I was young and dumb and sold it for next to nothing. It had 110,000 miles on it when I sold it but it looked and ran great. When I was scanning the pictures today I was having pleasant flashbacks to a simpler time.

Yes, very nice 75... you never said you had that, or I just don't remember you saying it.

Drew... I noticed your "hello" this morning, very nice... its on now! If you come all the way to the end you will see a few of mine where I was playing around with LC and the other options.

Well... I am super excited. It is going to be a beautiful weekend and I am installing my HURST and skip shift eliminator this weekend! The 1-4 light poped up today and I just laughed and told it its days were numbered!

FRONT PLATE... huh. I have not run a front plate since I was 16. I have been stopped once. Its a stupid law and I am using my constitutional right to break that law! I think from my sig pic you will notice I am not the only one!
