2010 SS Reverse Lights

Hello, recently my car was backed into causing damage to the rear bumper. I took it to the body shop for repairs and when it was returned one of my reverse lights was out. Now I don't mind thus because likely the forgot to to plug it in when exchanging bumpers and along with I want to replace them with LEDs anyways. So does anyone know the light bulb that is used for the reversing light. If any one can help it would be greatly appreciated.

The sad part about replacing them, you have to remove the bumper cover to get to them! Thanks GM..lol

I took my bumper off to have a few dings fixed last year at the body shop. It's not that difficult. Just get a couple of saw horses and a moving blanket from Harbor freight to hold it. I took it off and reinstalled by myself.

Yeah, I know its nothing major and I've had my front bumper off a number of times already. I just don't feel like pulling the bumper until I NEED to at this point. My reverse lights are the last of my priorities.

For reference, original style bulb p/n is 10351677 and list price is $24.34 each.

No idea of the quality, but here's a pair of LED bulbs for the backup lamps.

https://www.amazon.com/Alla-Lighting...099RK32D6?th=1

Others likely make them too, but I'm not sure which would be the best for the $$$ spent.
As mentioned, it's such a PITA to have to pull the rear bumper cover to do it. You'd think they'd have an access port or something back there but NOOOOooo.

I was considering those LED replacements on Amazon but ultimately went with a set of tinted Oracle LED reverse lights. Definitely a big difference in price, but from what I could gather the original reverse light housing was designed to be used with the glow from standard bulb and LED's have a straight beam. Basically, even though the LED's would shine brighter and run in a higher kelvin, they wouldn't shine as far as the factory bulb because of the housing.

The reverse lights sit above the rear crash bar, so that's why the entire bumper has to come off. The first time I removed the rear bumper I thought for sure I was going to break something. Just make sure you either have someone there to brace the other side or something soft for the bumper to land on. After you do that once, the rear is actually easier to take off then the front bumper.
