Not sur a mid engine car would make up for that but it's a step I guess.

It's front mid-engined as opposed to C8 which is rear mid-engined. Quote:
It's the rear wing.

https://www.reddit.com/r/cars/commen..._as/?rdt=47627 They are probably exiting the exhaust under the diffuser to speed up flow there. At least that's what one formula SAE team did, that I chatted with a decade back. |

Well, it was pretty light on any actual info. 8sp transaxle, 50/50 weight distribution, 800+HP, magnesium wheels, lots of carbon fiber, 325/30/20 front tires, 345/30/20 rear tires, titanium exhaust, carbon ceramic brakes, several auxiliary coolers/radiators, active aero, possible/likely $300k price tag.

Its a carbon fiber car using C5,C6,C7 type trans axle the engine is still up front.
The first pictures didn't have that much clarity after seeing the youtube video I now see that its a wing. Well most sanctioning bodies have BOP so good luck showing your tail to the other supercars.

Semi-active suspension including spring rate and 1.5" ride height.
It's a technology power hitter. Trans internals are aft of the diff, more like a C8's. It might be it. It should be an R-spec version of a Lincoln Mark#. Or add lightness with better balance as a Shelby Daytona. |

Boy that makes sense… I can buy a wannabe mid engine car for 300K+ or I can buy a real mid engine Z06 for far less and likely have better performance…

I'm very curious about the talk of being capable of a sub 7 min Nordschleife Lap time. the Porsche 911 GT3 was mentioned and there are several models of 911 GT3 that have sub 7min times, e.g .
a 991.2 GT3 RS in Apr '18 @ 6:56.4, a 992.1 GT3 in Sep '20 @ 6:55.34, a 992.1 GT3 RS in Oct '20 @ 6:54.99 , a 992.1 GT3 RS in Oct '22 @ 6:44.848, and a 992.1 GT3 Feb '23 @ 6:59.42. So, I wonder which exactly did they aim to beat. There's a 14.57sec spread there.
