I need to figure out a suitable vacuum source for the BOV. I was going to tee into the Brake booster line, but its so big. I have seen where people mention the evap line by the throttle body, as well as a nipple on the rear of the intake manifold. Whats the best solution? My BOV requires a 7/32 hose which is an odd size for vacuum line.

Got the mighty mouse catch can in today. Had to loosen up and reorient the intercooler piping but I made it happen. I used this metal lined rubber u gasket to act as a buffer for the pipe to rub on. I'm suprised the can fit so well with this setup. Definitely looks clean.

Looking good and looks like a start up video coming soon!!

What did you decide on for the vacuum source? It might be the angle of the pics but the end of the t-bolt band on the intake piping looks like it might be in close contact with the hood when its closed.?

I bought a tee to splice the vacuum from the brake booster line into a vacuum block. Which gives me room to add other vacuum references if I need it. I was hoping that I didn't have to cut into that line, but it looks like the most reliable source.

Good looking out on the T-bolt clamp... Honestly haven't checked to see if the hood even closes at all yet. I should probably do that.

This are for sale, just pay the $15 usps flat rate shipping cost. Universal coolant reservoir. The bracket mounts it in the same bolt holes that the factory reservoir goes in. Also a universal windshield washer fluid pump and reservoir. I went a different route, so maybe this could work for someone else's build. The coolant reservoir didn't fit with my intercooler piping.

Got ALOT done in the past few weeks. Had alot of mishaps with ordering the wrong fittings, wrong adapters, etc... but... it's almost done. Went to install the coolant reservoir that I bought from a member... it didn't fit. Was almost 1/2" too long. So I cut the bracket off, shortened it and mig welded it back together. I also finally had all the pieces to route my vacuum lines to the bov. Also installed this sweet chase bays windshield washer fluid reservoir and pump. I filled her up with coolant and she started on the second crank. Idled surprisingly well considering. Got the coolant system burped and tested for leaks. Now all that is left is installing the ZL1 fuel pump and injectors, along with the fuel rail flip. This thing sounds sick! The bov is so loud. I also need to buy a boost guage so that I can monitor how much boost I am making. So close!

His welding is great, his prices are fair, and he is a one man show. I also had him weld in a wideband o2 bung so that when I am ready to install my AEM wideband, I will have a home for the sensor ready to go. Really happy with how this all turned out.
Sorry for a random question about a really old post (Post#75). First, that is a really cool custom bend to be able to use the tunnel brace!

Do you happen to know how high the top of the exhaust is from the upper side of the tunnel brace? And, how much clearance do you have between the top of the exhaust and the driveshaft?

I have been considering for awhile about getting an aluminum driveshaft. However, I have SLP's full exhaust system (LT headers, X-pipe, and Loud Mouth I). Their setup is rather unique because right where the tunnel brace is, I have two large resonators...I would say they are about 5" in diameter whereas the rest of the exhaust is 3".

Thanks, yeah I do have a pretty unique setup as far as the exhaust goes. The Texas Speed Catback sat really low compared to sotck so I had to figure out how to keep the subframe brace.

The exhaust itself is probably about an inch away for the tunnel brace as it sits.

The clearance from the exhaust to the driveshaft is more than it looks like. Probably a good 2-3 inches. There is acutally alot of room in the tunnel. I feel like you could get away with running a 1 piece shaft. I have the DSS shaft which alot of people have complained about balance issues and what not. I guess i got one of the rare "perfect" ones. My fit and finish was spot on and I have zero driveline vibrations and i even have poly mounts in the diff and rear cradle.

DSS made at least 2 perfect shafts, mine has been in 2 years with no problems at all. Plus I have been running their 1400 HP axles over 3 years and they are shear bliss.

Great...thank you so much for that info! I think I can finally put that concern to rest.

Installed the new FIC injectors, and did the fuel rail flip. It looks alot better, but kind of a pain in the ass removing the intake manifold to get the rear bolts out. Also cut the rear floor to install the ZL1 fuel pump. I bought a really nice access panel from Allstar performance to add a hinged door. Tune with Jeff's performance and tuning is scheduled for September 5th and the camaro is 100% ready now. Now it's just a waiting game.

All star performance 8x8 fuel pump access panel has been successfully installed. Used some pliers to kind lift up floor a tad so that the rivets don't rub the tank. Came out really nice. It's a mirror finish material, so shiny that it was hard to get a good picture of it.

This mod was inspired by member FasNuf who did a really good job on his youtube video. I oriented my plate a little differently, but same concept.
