Quick update. new turbo is being fitted. Still a T4 Trim Turbo. We have some modification to be done as far as fitment wise, but as of yesterday turbo and crossover pipe line up and bolt in. So now it's align the downpipe so that it all fits where it's supposed to and finish buttoning this thing up. This weekend will have some more updated pics of where it's all at. Stay Tuned.

Cars 99% done. All fab modifications have been completed. We turned the motor over w/o plugs to verify all working correctly. Also to test oil pressure. Sensor isn’t making good contact with Holley Harness being it’s ever so slightly too short. So extension harness has been ordered. All systems go though right now. Hope to have it fired up this week

Got it started last night!!! A new Optima Yellow Top, and a Powermaster XS Starter Spun the new motor over fast enough to get it to fire up! Got a few more things to do to get it road ready but were getting there.

Nice. If I ever get around to it, my turbo/ exhaust setup will be similar.

Car has over 500 Miles on the new set up as of yesterday. We look forward to its initial trip to the dyno here soon. New MAC Valve was wired in this past weekend. Need to extend the Down Pipe and Wastegate Exit Tubes after our modifications from the stock motor set, now up its sits about 2" under the hood. That should also be taken care of prior to Dyno.
In other news we did mount up the 325/50/15 Hoosier DR2. Let's see how these perform. Will leave a review once we get to the testing part of the car. We have run M/T Prior. With all of this no prep stuff going on lately and our local track being a 1/8th Mile track, we took the opportunity to switch it up and test it out. It was a tough call between the 325/50/15 and 28x10.5x15 Radial Slick. Ultimately it came down to wanting a DOT Approved Tire |

First Dyno Trip, drove it there and drove it back home so can’t complain too much. We are going to swap out the Wastegate springs and add the Holley Fuel Pressure Sensor to our set up to be able to lay it over the logs instead of simply the mechanical gauge we have now. Then head back and turn it way up.

Quick update, so far new set up has been 17PSI. Cars moving out pretty good for the setting it’s on. Factory Alternator went out. Just wasn’t charging the battery properly, so I swapped it out for another Factory AcDelco Unit, and now the new Yellow Top purchase 3 months ago when we first got the car started is only charging to 60%. So I’ll be swapping batteries, and heading to do some more tuning here over the next week or so. We have been doing street tuning after the Dyno the First Time. We will hop it back on the Dyno when we go to crank it up. As it’s Full prep for FL2K in OCT! Testing testing testing, can’t say it enough. Seat time adjustments working towards our goals.

We have been doing some street tuning at this point since the first time we strapped it down to the dyno. So wouldn't be able to tell you. But what I can tell you is that we hope to strap it back up soon. Been doing some testing where the car is right now working out all those new set up quirks and making some adjustments to the Holley as we go. Won't be long though, hopefully to make a full hit soon and then we can continue to turn it up.

With FL2k Prep in full effect, we are going to continue to get the car where we want it to be. With that said, there is an area on these cars that must be addressed upon making big power and launches. Well, my ZL1 Rear Diff came in today. Still need Axles and Driveshaft. The driveshaft will be custom by a local company to us who has done a driveshaft for us prior. Same day service can't beat that!

ZL1 Diff went in the car this past weekend as we wrap up FL2K Prep. Here is a little bit of just the driveshaft difference. Gulf Coast Driveshafts custom shaft to bolt right up to my 1LE Trans and ZL1 Diff. Yoke direct holt in, no adapters or any of that none sense.
