Nice! I owned a couple of those. I still think the third gen is in the top three for nicest lines. Not powerhouses in the stock form factor, by any stretch, but that was OK. They were/are beautiful cars!

All hail the Calloway! Aqua Blue and I got to drive laps in a field of about 9 Camaros on the Las Vegas Nascar track with one of these. He was right behind me and was kind enough to share his video with me. Good times!

Dude, it was a blast! And that Calloway sounded and looked so bad ass. Loved the hood treatment too.

Ya gotta fast forward a bit to get to the driving parts. Click on the "Watch On Youtube" hotlink.

It was an awesome day, I can’t wait to get back up and do it again. Definitely something every Camaro person should do at least once.

The link isn't working, but I was able figure out the address for the video from this reply and just pasted it into YouTube.

Thanks for posting! Those high banked corners really flatten the road out because it definitely didn't look like you were going 110 mph.

I think the average speed was about 90-95. We hit 110 just a few times while playing "catch up". Grin

Yea I was 90-95 in the corners and a little above 100 on average down the straits. A few times I’d lag it back going into the corner so I could pull hard thru the corners. The best I did before catching up to the car in front of me was about 115 briefly. The G’s on the banking are bad ass.

Man that looked like a lot of fun! Great showing on the Camaros! You never see anything like that down here. Really like how effortlessly that Callaway accelerates. And the blower whine, awesome!!

It's that time of the week again, was driving back home on the weekend and stopped to check out an abandoned bridge I found a long the way, grabbed this one on way back to post here.
