RC Cars
I don't know if anyone is using RC Cars, I was heavily involved with Building my own Arrma Kraton with custom parts. All DC and LiPo batteries no Gas.
I'm in the middle of selling mine on eBay. here is a Pic of mine. Let me know if you like RC Cars |

I've had a nitro RC since I was a kid. It's a CEN racing funfactor ATX buggy. Still have it. All upgraded metal Skyon servos. Issue with it currently is the pull starter on the motor snapped.

Nice, but yours is way faster but the big lipo's are picking up speed, I measured mine to 75 mph.
It's a great Hobby. |

Mine says 45mph. Has 2 gears. Cool little car. I need to get back into it. I used to run it around all the construction areas when I moved down to FL. Now that I've moved again I need to get it fixed so I can rip up the construction areas again.

I’ve got a basher Tmaxx 2.5 that I upgraded to all the 3.3 stuff 14-15 years ago. I’ve owned the truck for 20 years this coming summer, but it hasn’t ran in at least 10 years. Wife, kids and life in general got in the way. I keep telling my son one of these days we are going to resurrect it.

I used to be huge into RC cars before I got my first car. Then the real car became my main hobby lol.
I did get my son a Traxxas Stampede for his B day last year and we have had a blast with it. |

It's been a while, but I still have my old electric Stampede that I swapped in the Rustler chassis to race, an old RC10GT, and an RC10B3 electric buggy. Old stuff. Brushless motors and NiMH batteries were becoming a thing when I was getting out of RC.

It was a great hobby for me from the 80's through the '00's. Very challenging since I wasn't a top racer, and still so worth it. It's a lesser hobby post the ready-to-runs and decline of the shops. I also got out about the time brushless and Li-po took over.
It use to be you could have almost all made-in-the-USA stuff (Associated or Losi or pan cars, the aftermarket, many electric components). And even use American-spec hardware. Only the radio or the cells or engine had to be imports, and those were mostly Japan and Italy. |
