are the 10-11 llt 3.6 the same
I must have used the wrong keywords on the last post, what i want to know is the 3.6 FWD and RWD the same. I need to replace the block in my RWD that i snapped a head bolt in. for some reason that makes no sense to me people are trying to sell 3.6's out of camaro's for downright ignorant prices. However, the FWD 3.6 out of say an impala are a fraction of the price.my camaro has a 6-speed standard, is there a difference in bolt up between a rwd and a fwd?

You can call the dealer and check the part numbers. As far as I know they are the same but you will need to reuse some of your external pieces. I know the newer lfx blocks are the same so I see no reason the llt wouldn't be too.

None of my local machinists have the equipment necessary and if they did at $140 an hour this adds up quickly, there is a broken easy out to contend with too.i simply may not be feasible to invest in my block.yes my block is a D vin.there was zero compression in any cylinder,I knew the timing was jumped so the heads came off looking for bent valves.the heads went to the shop(no bent valves)to be rebuilt.I got all the new parts to put it all back together.A short block may be the only answer
