I've seen guys use LS7 covers off a Vette on a stroked LS3. Ultimately, it's all LS so as long as you have the mounting points for new covers, it should all work, but I imagine you are wanting to know if the Vette covers will work with the Camaro mounting points.

I have similar style ls7 covers but from a Z28, my biggest issues came from the fact that ls7 used different intake manifold and the fact that it was dry sump with no oil fill, which I don't think should be an issue with Vette LS3 covers, all you would need are some extra studs because stock I think the car comes with 1 but needs 4 for the fuel rail cover style.

Personally, I'd leave it and if you want dress up by adding color to key existing parts. I don't want anything that potentially traps heat or serves no purpose other than to cover up the goods. I'd rather make the goods shine.

Felt like this was good thread to continue with... are folks removing the molded plastic cover that sits on top of the intake manifold (circled in pic)? Is this intended to prevent the tubing that crosses over the top of manifold from getting too hot? Or is the cover mostly a heat trap, as suggested in this thread?
