I noticed that too. LOL Wish I could join you on the cruise, but there's just too much going on right now. Thanks for posting, maybe next time!
I'll be playing golf with my uncle Sunday, just threw that idea out there. Should be a great day to get the SS out.

Hello, everyone my wife got my car home safe and sound, and i can't wait to drive it!
on another note, I was looking in other forums for front plate ideas and was just wondering what my Ohio friends are doing?
I think most of us are on hold with the front plates. If you take inventory while driving around it's surprising how many vehicles don't have them.

Hello everyone. I am the guy that jrhaus76 is talking about in the above post.
Welcome Drew. You and jrhaus might want to put some cheaper rubber on for that contest.

Speaking of 70's Camaro's, I thought heinzd01 and jrhaus76 could appreciate pictures of my 1975 Camaro I owned in my late teens
Nice, brings back some memories of my 75 Firebird. Oh, to be 18 again. Every day was a party. My brother begged me for a week to let him take the car out with his friends, I finally relented and some punk turns in front of him totaling the Firebird. (no humans hurt, just the car).

No front plate on Merlin. I do, however, have the plate in the front of the car. It's just under the driver's seat :-)

Hi, EM! Nice to see you popping in to check on us!

I just don't understand why people get so worked up about a front plate. Does the back plate really look that great? Why not take it off too?

Oh... don't be a spoil sport! I don't think it is the fact that the plate looks that bad, its the fact that you have to DRILL into the front bumper to mount it. I am going to make a bracket that mounts down low, under the car and hold the plate so I don't have to drill the bumper... wait who am I kidding, I am not the ambitious!

I remember something from about a year ago on this site, when I was lurking that is, about a flip up bracket or somthing along those lines. I am going to look around on here and see if I can find it again. It hid under the front of the car and you fliped it or something. I will get on it cause I need to do something my self for when I go through Hamersville. They love the no front plate law.

Not to jinx myself but I have been through Hamersville tons of times with the Camaro and the Corvette I had before this without a front plate and never been bothered. Seen plenty of cops too. Maybe the didnt notice or just realized the cars were way to nice to junk up with a plate!

I will probably get stopped next time I go through.

That could be tru. They never bothered me when I had my 96 Impala SS either. However just about 7 months ago I had a 1ton truck I bought in KY and it didn't have the front bracket and they stoped me. I got out of it since I went to school with the guy who stoped me. Is was kinda funny, we sat on the side of the road and talked for about 15 mins before he told me why he stoped me. I think I will just do as you guys are and just not do anything at all. It will be the same as window tint tickets. To me its worth paying an $80 ticket every few years.

One last thing...I know I am going from a lurker to a post whore quick here. Is anybody other than Jrhaus76 going to the Camaro5fest in April? I think I am just going to commit to it now and worry about explaining to the wife later. Thats what I did when I got my new Camaro and she loved it so I may just try to play this off as a vacation. It would be fun if we all went together plus just think of the looks we would get traveling in a pack. I guarantee somebody would pee their pants seeing about 10 Camaros going down the road.
