Not sure on the sales tax yet. We didn't have Joe add it here in New York because Oklahoma's sales tax is much cheaper. Joe said in New York it is 8.25% I think, and in Oklahoma it is only 3.5%. I'm not sure how you figure it exactly, do you take the price of the car before any down payment and trade and multiply by 3.5%? I know different states are different so I will have to just call the tag office tomorrow and see what the damage will be. We have 30 days from purchase to pay tag, tax and title so it will give us a little time to save us more money. What is your tax rate punkin? We still want to get a specialty tag too but still not sure what to get. I had someone tell me to get "try me" but I think that might get me in trouble. Eric said "sweeeet" or "oohbaby" "2spoiled" "2fast" anyone got any ideas? Want something catchy that makes a statement like the car does. Well, better get off here and do some homework then it is time to crash. I can barely keep my eyes open.

Onlyhonda, congrats on the car bummer about the bumper. Like Eric said, glad it was on them and not you. Atleast they got the first accident out of the way for all of us so we can all relax. I still haven't driven it yet. I'm scared, especially being in a totally unfamiliar place so will wait till we are on open highway or closer to home.

Joe Ott from Paddock, Jeff from Solo exhaust and Bob from Muffler Man already had the exhaust put on before we got there, even though it was in the back of the suburban, they stuck a different set on there and we just gave the other one back when we got there, what service!!! This was probably the best car buying experience we have ever had.

Now back to the car absolutly gorgeous and the power and speed is unreal, and hasn't even been broke in yet. Well I will quit rambling and post a few pics, will get some better ones when the sun is out and shinning bright.

What a beautiful car. Sounds like the only thing that they couldn't do for you.....was keep the rain away and off the car.

Tax is based on the full price. I'm really surprised they let you out the door without paying it..........I guess things are different everywhere.

I'm sure you will come up with something catchy for the plate before you get her home...........along with a name for the car as well.

here in arkansas its 6% sales tax and you have 30 days to pay it take it by the revenue office and then you get your tags and pay yours sales tax! love it! and we also get to subtract say i sold a car for 5500 we get to subtract that from the full car price then the remaining is what we pay sales tax on.

5% here and basicly the same format...pay it at the dealer tho and they send it in to the state...then we pay excise tax at the town office when we register it
