You have to sand the clear coat down to get to the paint. It's a fine sandpaper and you do it wet so the clear and paint will just flow off the car. You have to rough up the paint so the new will adhere to the car. Then they'll wet sand each coat with an even finer sandpaper to bring out an awesome shine. Finally shoot it with the clear coat.

I'm no painter, but I've got a buddy that does this for a living. I'm sure there is more of a technical explanation but he just summed it up for me.

I looked at that tire on tirerack.com. Think it looks good. Do you have any red accents on the car. Wait, you have the red Brembos???? That would look good!!!!!

Actually I have black brembos .......but the red stripe remind me of the old 60's red stripe.....instead of being on the tire...its on the rim

I like it. You're needing some winter tires in Virginia? I was looking for a black wheel as well. Then when I picked it up I loved it the way it was. I'm sure the itch to change something will come back in a month or so.

I wouldn't be able to look at my car all sanded down without worrying. They did a good job though it looks like.

Well it gets chilly here and I wanted all seasons on the car.... im not a big fan of Pirelli's ....and they summer only to top it off and i drove it 3 days ago when the temp was like 39 degrees....OMG horrible! So i been shopping for all seasons and I need a spare lol

I like all season tires. I don't like the price tag on the Pirelli's vs. the BF Goodrich's that came on the car. I won't be driving over 115, lol
