Just added a catch can today to my 2010 2LT. Will post pics once I can get it out of the garage with better lighting.

Something tells me that when you are done we all will wish the factory did it like this.

It's funny because my motivation to do this is because of the lack of paint on the frame rails, towers, etc from GM.

I'm going to smooth some things out and make sure everything is uniform in color when done. Haven't decided if I am going back black under the hood or some sort of grey similar to my wheels. What do you guys think about color?

That's a tough one. I think all black would be nice. Any plans for a coil pack relocation or any other components?

Coil packs will be dropping down to the frame rails or possibly bottom sides of motor. All wiring will be coming up from the back of the engine. Minimal wiring visible from the front. ECU and Fuse box will go into the cabin filter. ABS will go in the passenger side wheel well. (That's the plan right now)

New aluminum radiator, with new expansion tank, and possibly remote reservoir for power steering. Will be powder coating all accessory brackets and engine mounts.

WOW!! Quite the project you have going on there sir!! I'm sure as mentioned above, when you are don it's going to look awesome! I just know it. And as for the painting of the engine compartment, I too think the black would be better suited to match the car color, not the wheels. And the coil relocation, awesome too. Have fun and good luck with it all!!

Yeah, you have to be careful with some of these body parts out there, the aftermarket stuff is made of the Duraflex crap! And it is crap!! If you were to do a V8 front, look for an OEM one. That way the fit will be spot on. I haven't seen a single piece of Duraflex fit properly yet.

Will do!, It's not hard, or complicated. Just time consuming.
