Do you have any idea where we are? I called several times today and it said new Mexico. Tonight it says we are on the Texas/New Mexico Border. Does the train go in figure eights through that area?

I saw your ealier post about what stops are left, when you get a chance, could you let me know. I don't know if my phone sucks or I am losing my hearing but I cannot understand the recording of the cities they say on the recording

Do any of you guys know where we can look up how many of each model was produced. For example: How many 1SS's have been built so far. I saw it somewhere before but can't find it again

I'm guessing we don't get an ETA til we are MUCH closer [within a few hundred miles?] of or given destination.

The Cali guys could prob tell us. I don't know when they started getting their ETA.

You got me on this one---I've been tracking all day too and it said Vaughn NM, Then Thoreau NM which makes sense b/c they are both on the rail lines and follow the 40 (route 66) to California via AZ....but now I think it says Willard? that's the opposite direction.....Hmmm--I'm just not hearing her right--I'll have to wait for the next update to figure this out--our ETA to Mira Loma CA is back to 11/7 @5 something am....

Ok so I just tracked again on a hunch--we just departed Strauss NM near Juarez (close to the Mexico/NM border)--looks like we must have waited in Vaughn NM to get hitched to a new engine that is coming to California---I followed that railine and it takes us throgh So. AZ to SoCAL---It makes sense when you see the map--it follows the 10--check it out on google maps--I don't know how to insert the map on this thread-sorry

Once the train reaches its destination, is there anything that can be done to get information from the trucking company? I know it will only be 5 and 1/2 hours away, but my dealer seems to think there is no way to know when it will show up - and I would really like to be able to know for sure when it's coming so I can take the day off and sit with a lawn chair waiting at the dealership - LOL! I think I'm in love!

The dealers out here (So. California) seem to be getting same day deliveries if the train arrives in the wee hours.

No way will mine be trucked up to my dealership tomorrow if it arrives at 1:00pm in Industry. My dealer said Saturday delivery is also a very unlikely possibility. So I'm still thinking Monday at the earliest, and quite possibly Tuesday.

Sullivang's dealer quoted same day--then again our rig with our cars arrives @4am --so that could be true and maybe his dealer has already schedule a pick-up on Saturday--the trucks run 24/7 (saw that on another thread).

It delivered 10 hours early to Industry! Waiting to unload! Could it really be possible for it to get on a truck today and make it to my dealer this afternoon!?! I am freaking out right now!
