Ok....best I could tell....."constructively placed" means that the railcar is at the yard and waiting for the car to be unloaded. On mine, the message changed after a while to "on hold for unload". Then, I finally got the "empty" message.

Our dealership backs up to the rear of our business. So...needless to say, I made a 100 trips out back yesterday to see if I could catch the truck driving up! I just missed seeing it pull into the dealership by about 5 minutes, but luckily, my salesman called and said it's here fixing to come of the truck! I dropped everything and got there!!!

Im on my way to the dealer right now after we did our paperwork last night and i still havent seen my baby so ill post pics as soon as i can im on my iphone right now

so, i was over at the forums on camarotracking.com and found this explanation. i think it's great and probably accurate, especially the last few lines!!

When a car arrives at railyard it must be placed on side tracks waiting for the boys to pull it in the yard to unload once it is unloaded our data then shows it in the railyard. Once it is in the railyard the trucking company that will carry it to your dealer builds a truck on paper. Filling it with cars going the same direction or dealer. Then they will call for a truck to be pulled around to load it..
Then they will load it and dispatch it for shippment.
A driver will pick up the trailer full of cars and begin making deliveries.
Then your dealer will call you and say your car is in
You will run around the house looking for your keys and drive fast to the dealer.
You will fill out paperwork and drive off in your new Camaro...Oh Yeah Baby in the words of Dick Vitalle

How many of us are still waiting?

Mine was unloaded at the rail yard on Tuesday and says "shipped by truck (railyard). My dealer doesn't know where it is but says it should be there soon. I'm getting tired of just sitting around and waiting.
