This is the exact thing that I've been trying to fight against since middle school when a lot of the kids in my class were getting cell phones.

Notice the reaction in the thread?

Not only does this kind of cr*p make YOU look like a dumba**, but it makes the rest of us (i.e. young adults) look like dumba**es too. And that sh** doesn't fly in my book. Obviously you are perfectly capable of communicating like a normal human being, how about you actually do it?
