I just got my 2LT today, and I've gotta say that I'm glad I chose the V6. It's got plenty of power and there is no way in hell I'd be able to maintain my composure with a 426 hp daily driver. I'd be a friggin nut. Enjoying the 6 too much as it is

It would never end for me. If I upgraded to an SS they would build the Z/28. If I upgraded to a Z/28 they would build a COPO. Rodney said it best, I get no respect.

I thought USAA was only for military families? My grandpa fought in the korean war but i doubt that would qualify me. I'll try and do some research on it though. Thanks.

Hahaha that's awesome.

I usually get the gas pump talk, and always they seem to not really care what engine size is in my camaro because the v6 still goes. I guess I've just been lucky.

V6 can equal the V8 remember the 84 to 87 Buick T-Type and Grand Nationals, The 97 to 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and GTX Both these type of cars had Forced Induction V6 that gave V8's a run for the money. 2010 Camaro with a Normally aspirated V6 at 304 to 312 HP not too shabby.

300+ H.P. out of 6 cylinders. Nothing to be ashamed of. The HATERS must have under-developed Genetailia.

Right now im shopping for a camaro. I have my sights set on a black 2ss/rs auto.o This thing is slick. My parents really think i should opt for the 2LT/rs. but something about the v6 models just bothers me. If i am gonna go balls out and buy an American muscle car, i want it to be the big boy. Not the little brother.

I tried to buy into the idea of the v6. drove one, watched videos on exhaust clips etc....they drive nice, but the exhaust sounds terrible. i absolutely hate v6 exhaust sounds. It drives me crazy. Maybe thats just me though....

With no disrespect, I'd be surprised if an '80 Camaro V8 had 200 horses in it. I had a '92 Firebird Formula with stock 245 HP.

Edit: Looked it up. The Z28 (highest HP) had 190 horses. The '10 Camaro with 312 HP is awesome. But Camaro folks know that. And yes, the new SS is even more awesomer. Haha.

well if you see an old 90s or early 2 thousands mustang and see its a V6 you normally dont even tend to take a second look.same with V6 dodge chargers or any other V6 american car (kinda).its only because most V6 cars dont represent power or coolness in anyway.but with this new generation or 4cyl cars beating things off the street and V6s being so light and powerful..i wouldn be suprised if in the future V8s get knocked out to weight bulkyness and bad gas mileages....time is key friend time is key
