This is only useful when driving solo, but this works great for me on my commute to work.

Yes it tucks under the console and sits pretty solid. Actually a little difficult to move once in place. Figured in this location even if something should spill a little it's going onto my all weather mats. They make one that goes on the hump in the rear behind the console. Thought about it for a sec but thought there were more chances for spills pulling it from back there. No one eats or drinks in my car but comes in handy if picking up food on the way home or something.

I bought the same thing off Amazon for $23 2 years ago. Doing a search for: CMWWYFC should pull it up.

I keep my water bottle tucked in next to me between me and the seat buckle. Fits nicely and never feel it
