I feel your pain, I put in for my 2LT M6 RS in July, I'm calling my dealership every week but I cant get anything but an order number. I call GM and they dont have anything exept the order number (if that), I just want my damn VIN and build date so I can order my Camaro bomber! And even though I put in my order in July (right when it was anouced) if the factory doesnt pick up my order, I'll lose the Transformers package! WTF!~ Fleet manager said straight out, even though the car is built in Canada, cars are going to lots in the US for inventory insted of the people who have ordered them! Canadian Allocation sucks! It should be Orders first, dealers second!

Have you asked that dealer if they have " open" allocation?

You may find out they are one of the 5 Lower Mainland dealers targeted for closure.

well you ordered yours in 08 so i can see why it took that long.. the car wasn't even being produced 'till earlier this year.. but ordered mine well into production.. so i know it won't take that long for me..

Good luck but you will not get a Vin until your car is built once you get a TPW you can expect two weeks until you get a VIN #. I know the wait sucks we all had to wait. Until you go 2000 (Order accepted by GM) I would be worried I would start checking around for one on a dealerships lot.
